Skybreak is a long-established family-owned company with more than 30 years’ experience in the Aviation and Travel industry. We are passionate about travel and pride ourselves on enhancing the airport passenger experience.

We have digitally developed our business to evolve within the current climate and are excited about the future. We are now looking to recruit colleagues to join our skilled Sales & Operations Team to support both our on Airport operation based at Gatwick Airport and our new division of 'Remote Passenger Services'. If you are looking to work in an environment where no day is the same and you can make a difference then we would love to work with you.

The location is Gatwick Airport and the requirement is to work shifts. Please only apply if you are able to easily commute.

We offer competitive rates of pay (based on experience) plus the opportunity to earn uncapped commission with a ‘we earn you earn’ company ethos.

 

Ideal candidates will have Customer Service experience in the Travel and/or Aviation industry. Preference will be given to applicants with Amadeus or other GDS/Airline ticketing/reservation system knowledge and or experience of working in Travel sales.

Responsibilities
  • Create tailor made solutions for passengers that have missed their flight
  • Booking all travel products including flights, hotels, ground transportation, visas, Covid documentation (PLF, Covid Tests)
  • Provide high levels of customer service at all times
  • Meeting company targets and earning generous commission
  • Dealing with customers via call, videocall and live chat
Skills Required
  • Previous experience in the travel and tourism sector
  • Knowledge of Amadeus or other major GDS reservation system
  • Geographical knowledge
  • Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Languages (beneficial but not essential)

Applicants will be required to work shifts within our core opening hours of 0600-2200 daily. Shifts allocated over 7 days (including weekends and bank holidays) and on a shift pattern.

We are now looking to recruit new talent to join our skilled Sales & Operations Team. If you looking for a career in travel and tourism, love working with people and want an opportunity where you can gain a variety of experience then we want to hear from you.
Ideal candidates will have team spirit and be confident with an outgoing personality. Previous Customer Service experience and/or a travel or CS related qualification a bonus but not essential

Key Qualities

The post holder will be well presented and committed to offering excellent customer service.  Well organized and able to work as part of a team, punctual and conscientious with a willingness to go the extra mile.  The Apprenticeship is a minimum of one year and therefore each apprentice must focus on developing their skills and successfully completing each year of the course. The Apprentice Agent will have a proactive approach and will strive to achieve the goals they are set.

Purpose of the Role
  • To support the Customer Service team by providing professional frontline customer service in line with our company’s SLAs (service level agreements)
  • Helping to prioritise passengers through queue management by maximizing sales opportunities or identifying passengers who either have tight check-in deadlines or may require extra assistance
  • Offering support to clients with general enquiries and sales of products and services such as transport, accommodation and office facilities
  • Providing visible customer support and information
  • Complete administrative duties as required
